Over the past couple of years the committee have been working towards streamlining our Rock Skills and Abseiling Skills curriculum to help get as many people as possible equipped with the knowledge they need to be able to join in on trips with the club. We’re coming towards the end of this process and wanted to take the opportunity to discuss some of these changes and what is incorporated in each of the skill levels to help you understand the progression levels within the club.
We’ll be covering off a few areas:
- What are the key skills in AS1, AS2, RS1, and RS2
- What are the other progressions within the club and what is taught in these sessions
- Getting signed off on skills outside of attending skills sessions
- Answering any questions you might have on vertical skills within the club
This session will be run via Zoom (or equivalent), so come along and bring any questions you might have. We’ll be recording this session for those who are not able to attend and will be uploading it somewhere afterwards
