Spring has sprung and it’s a great time to get back in the water! Dushy and I will be running a SCUBA diving trip at Shelly Beach on the 22nd for those who are interested in coming along.
Requirements:
* Those coming along to dive must present their certification card (physical or digital) before diving. Shelly Beach has a max depth of ~15m, so anyone with an Open Water certification or higher can come along.
* While we don’t have any restrictions regarding when you last dived, please be aware that this is not a guided trip, and if you are having difficulty or run out of air significantly before the rest of the group you will be sent back to shore while the rest carry on. You should be confident in your ability to manage your buoyancy and move underwater.
Equipment:
Participants will need to arrange their own equipment. If you need to rent any gear, local shops are ProDive Manly, Dive Center Manly, or Frogdive in Willoughby. Some equipment may be available via DOUTS on a first-come, first-served basis.
Logistics:
We’ll be diving at Shelley beach (https://maps.app.goo.gl/kzbCHsREDjtev6y46), with an early start at around 8:00am. Whether you do a single or double dive (or more) is up to you and how many tanks you want to bring along. I will likely be doing a double-dive if there are other who want to join in.
