snorkeling
Lucas and I will take a select few Little Bay Beach this Sunday. Snorkelers are able to see giant cuttlefish, octopus, moray eels, schools of old wife, pipefish, yellow-tail, and the occasional Kingfish.
We will meet outside the Surf Lifesaving Building (16 Murra Murra Pl) – 11.30 AM
Getting there:
• Light rail to Juniors Kingsford and catch the 390X bus (45 min from central)
• Driving yourself: there is limited free parking around the beach
• Grab a lift from me: I can pick up a few people from North Sydney station at 10.30 am sharp
This trip is for people who:
• have a good cold tolerance
• can swim at least 200m unassisted
• are comfortable swimming in the open ocean
What to bring:
• Swimmers
• Beach Towel
• Water Bottle
• Sunscreen (recommended)
• Snacks (better be ready to share)
• Sunglasses
Gear you will need (the club can provide equipment if necessary)
• A wetsuit if you get cold in the water (specify size XS,S,M,L, XL Club can provide)
• Mask and snorkel (club can provide)
• Flippers (club can provide)
If you will be driving to the beach and are happy to provide a lift to a few more people, let us know.
Please provide some information about yourself and your snorkeling/swimming experience in the sign-up info. You will be much more likely to get onto the trip if you do.
