The Climb needs THREE more volunteers as We look to WELCOME our NEW Members at a free BBQ at the LEDGE.
AND to try indoor CLIMBING
VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL NEEDED for this evening from say 545pm to 815pm.
to:
1. TEACH indoor climbing basics including two handed belay, lowering, communications, safety.
2. Be a Club buddy, answering questions about the club and activities
And keeping an eye out to ensure continuing safety of newbies.
Please volunteer for say 1.0 hour, nominating your availability from say :
SHIFT 1: 545pm to 630pm (Peak demand)
SHIFT 2: 630pm to 730pm (Very busy)
SHIFT 3: 730PM TO 830pm (busy)
It was overwhelmingly busy for 2019 and we expect to be even busier this time around.
We would like you to TEACH in small groups and so I’m seeking lots of volunteers.
A briefing sheet of what to teach and of standard Club practice will be provided beforehand. It is important that a consistent and safe lesson for newbies is given throughout the evening.

This is a great night as NEW members get their first impressions of OUR Club and engage with fellow Members and learn subtly that safety is a Club priority, as much as having fun.
