Have you wondered what it takes to be a UTSOAC Trip Leader?
Ever looked at those who lead our club adventures and wanted to do the same but didn’t know how?
Perhaps you’d like to relive some of your favourite club trips and lead them as your own. Here is your opportunity!
All Trip Leaders must take part in this course before they can start leading and should be an active member of the club.
Please let us know in the signup information what kinds of trips you are interested in running and what experience you currently have.
The Workshop is designed to introduce you to what it’s all about to be a Trip Leader and the steps you need to take to get there.
What the workshop will cover:
• How to organise and plan a trip and post it on the website.
• Safety issues, environmental and insurance matters.
• Brief intro to Club equipment and storage
• Trip leader incentives.
When: Wednesday 1/11/23 at 1830
Where: online zoom session (link TBD)
Who: anyone interested in becoming a Trip leader or helping second trips.
