Hello Adventurers!
Water Dragon is the little cousin of the legendary Whangee Whingee. It will most likely be just as cold but in much shorter bursts. Birger and I are heading out there this Saturday. Suitable for intermediate or experienced canyoners only, we will need to be efficient and quick because I’m too old to see in the dark!!!
It will be a solid day, it’ll be worth it from all accounts. Bring you spirit for adventure….and your sense of humour!

Priority will be given to those who can drive. Passengers, this will be $10 each way for the driver ($20 total) so please have the appropriate notes handy.
We will try and car pool as much as possible, save unnecessary exhaust fumes.
Information regarding gear, travel arrangements and so on will be sent to successful applicants.
Pre-requisite:
– Must leave Sydney for the Blue Mountains by 6am on Saturday 19th April (we will discuss transport options once places are confirmed).
– Available to drop off gear at the end of the trip, Saturday 19th April, no matter what time we get back.
– Must have abseiled consistently in the last 6 months, preferably in canyons. Please tell me your abseiling experience in the comments section of your registration.
– Able to swim at least 30 meters unassisted
– Good fitness, you must be able to hike for several hours with a backpack.
– Comfortable with scrambling around boulders, logs and other obstacles
– Comfortable with jumping into a pool of water from a height
– Must respond to all emails promptly
