canyoning
Whungee Wheengee Canyon is a spectacular canyon on the north side of the Wollangambe River. It features two beautiful constrictions, a few short abseils, with the longest being 15m and, depending on water levels, a couple of duck under.
Prerequisites:
– Good level of fitness – This will be a 7–10 hour trip with multiple steep ascents
– Confident swimmer – Should be able to swim 200m without assistance confidently
– Prior canyoning/abseiling experience (and have completed abseil skills I)
– Comfortable in cold deep water
– Comfortable in enclosed spaces

Upon being accepted for this trip, an itinerary and gear list will be sent out.
Please note that canyon trips are susceptible to cancellation in unfavourable weather conditions.
