Hello Adventurers,
Looking to after Megafest… The next rogaine is fast upon us!
For the uninitiated, Rogaining is the sport of cross-country navigation. You’ll be handed a topographic map with controls worth a range of points marked all over it, and you have a time limit to collect as many points as possible.
This event is particularly novice-friendly:
It’s in Willoughby (lower North Shore of Sydney), so a mix of suburban and local bushland.
It’s particularly affordable entry at $45/30(concession)
It’s only 6 hours, and the social-distancing guidelines dictate starts are staggered (you can start anytime between 9am and midday, the clock doesn’t Go until your team punches Go)
We have to be there because I was the one to suggest the clever name.
James Carr and I will help with registration, team-formation, and any rogaining basics you may have.
