Ready to take your climbing to the next level? Lead Climbing is the real deal. An essential skill for routes with no top access, and for those wanting to progress to multi-pitch and trad climbing.
What we will cover:
– Climbing on Lead,
– Belaying a Lead Climber,
– Falling technique,
– Terminology of Lead Climbing,
– Climber/belayer communication
Who is this trip for:
This trip is for those with existing experience climbing on top rope who want to learn to Lead Climb.
Requirements:
– must have completed Rocks Skills 1 or equivalent,
– must be climbing regularly indoor or outdoor,
– must have own climbing shoes and padded harness (not the tape style).
